Program Director Coach Laura Sellers

Laura Sellers has coached players from 6th grade through varsity since 1994. She has coached school and travel teams (AYBT, AAU, USJN). Her school coaching jobs were at Bloomington Jr. High & High School for 2 years, then Hoopeston Area Jr. High & High School for 2 years, Metcalf Jr. High, and currently, Normal University High School where she has been the varsity coach since 2007. During the summers, she established travel programs called S.W.I.S.H. in Hoopeston and the Future Starz in Bloomington/Normal. Beginning in the summer of 2008, she began coaching for the Pizazz. Lastly, she has worked over 70 basketball camps for colleges/universities and private organizations. Coach Sellers wants her teams to play hard, be fundamental, and work together.

Coach Tom Garriott has had extensive experience coaching basketball at all levels. Coach Garriott's coaching resume includes: Bloomington Central Catholic Girls Basketball fr/jv, varsity assistant - 1998-1999; U-High Girls Basketball jv, varsity assistant - 1999-2006; IWU Women's Basketball varsity assistant - 2006-2008; Olympia Boys Basketball varsity assistant - 2009-2010; Boys Team Illinois AAU - 2000-2008; Prairie Central Girls Basketball Head Coach 2010-2016: Champaign St. Thomas More 2016-2018; Pontiac Girls Basketball Head Coach 2018-present; Illinois Pizazz 1995-1999, 2011-current. Coach Garriott's wealth of basketball knowledge is a critical asset to the Pizazz program.
